Assisant Sports Producer
Job Description
-
To form part of the production team as Assistant Sports Producer, where there will be opportunity to work on a variety of productions including Rugby League, Football, Boxing, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Netball, Hockey, Badminton, Bowls, Table Tennis and Cage fighting.
-
Based at Televideo’s Sheffield office, but will be required to work on outside broadcasts and film shoots across the UK and Europe several days per week, involving travel and unsociable hours. The position will involve overnight shifts at Televideo’s base on occasion.

To take an active role as Assistant Sports Producer for all Televideo’s productions; writing scripts and running orders, planning and story-boarding features, and dealing with talent teams and crews in pre-production.

To liaise with clients to ensure full satisfaction with production service and programme content throughout the production process.
-
Overseeing programme features and shoots; organising features in pre-production, co-ordinating film crew at shoot locations, interviewing guests and talent.
-
Working closely with editors in the post production department cutting programmes and feature material.
-
Managing areas of the live and recorded productions onsite at OBs – to include Floor Managing, Production Managing, live production timings, briefing talent team and OB crew.

Assisting with and overseeing post-production edits and delivery of broadcast materials to clients.
Primary Skills
- A creative and innovative approach to all aspects of production, from ideas stage to final product.
- Ability to adapt and develop projects throughout the production process when faced with new challenges.
- Knowledge of broadcast quality control and editing standards
- Ability to interact with and assist all members of the production and OB team, including reporters, presenters, and guests
Secondary Skills
- A knowledge of editing systems, specifically Final Cut Pro and Avid would be an advantage
- Driving License would be an advantage
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 x A-levels, BTEC National Diploma or equivalent qualifications or similar

Graphic Designer / Editor
Job Description

To form part of the production team as Graphics Designer and Editor
-
Primarily based at Televideo’s Sheffield office, but may at times be required to work on outside broadcasts, involving travel and unsociable hours. The position will involve overnight editing at Televideo’s base on occasion.

To design and create top-quality graphics to use within programmes, features and opening sequences, as well as with outside broadcast graphics systems such as VizRT and Aston. The Graphics Designer will also be involved with the design of logos, DVD covers, sleeves etc

To edit Televideo productions, including the editing of programmes for broadcast, opening sequences, feature edits, corporate edits etc.

Maintenance and development of VizRT broadcast graphics software (to be taught in-house)

Day to day operations (client dubs, DVD duplication, kit maintenance, website maintenance, IT maintenance)
Primary Skills
- Ability to create graphics on After Effects / Adobe Photoshop – creativity and a flair for graphics design is key
- Ability to edit on Final Cut Pro
- Ability to maintain and adapt existing website would be an advantage
- High level of computer knowledge needed to oversee company computers / networks
- DVD Encoding and Authoring with Adobe Encore

Trainee Camera Operator
Job Description
- To form part of the outside broadcast team as Trainee Camera Operator
- Based at Televideo’s Sheffield office, but will be required to work on outside broadcasts across the UK and abroad, involving travel and unsociable hours.
- To take an active role as a member of the Camera Department, developing skills as an OB Camera Operator, ENG Operator and Studio Operator.
- To fulfil a wide range of camera operation requirements, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction.
- To form part of the outside broadcast team in the action of a variety of tasks, to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of all OB client services.
Primary Skills
- A knowledge of camera operation
- An ability to recognise and offer high quality shots and angles to directors and producers.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 x A-levels, BTEC National Diploma or equivalent qualifications or similar
