45-metre screen on Sheffield Wednesday Pitch 10,000 Sheffield Wednesday Fans

Televideo were proud to host the Steel City derby beam-back on Saturday 7th February 2009, as 10,000 Sheffield Wednesday fans descended on Hillsborough to experience Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday from Bramall Lane, via a 45-metre square screen which was erected in front of the Hillsborough South Stand.

Televideo put in a 6-camera outside broadcast at Bramall Lane, using OB Unit 4, and the pictures were sent across Sheffield to Hillsborough, where thousands of Wednesday fans were delighted to be able to watch the game, and even happier about their 2-1 win.

The job was extremely successful, and well received by the Owls, and Televideo hope to work with Sheffield Wednesday on another such event in the future.
