Action from Sheffield in 2008

Saturday 30th May will see the first of a run of 6 European Volleyball games to be covered by Televideo for the British Volleyball Federation.  For the second year Televideo will provide the live world feed for the UK leg of the competition, as well as producing a series of 6 x 2 hour programmes for Sky Sports.

The series will follow the progression of the men’s and women’s GB teams as they battle it out to become the number one European volleyball nation. The OBs are scheduled to take place in Sheffield, Norwich and Edinburgh.

Last year Televideo were pleased to use OB Unit HD2 on the event, successfully putting this compact, but high capacity truck, to the test.  This year the event will follow a similar format, with Televideo simultaneously covering the world feed action, whilst producing the Sky Sports programme ‘as live’.  A dedicated graphics set has been designed by the company’s production department in conjunction with the CEV (Confederation of European Volleyball) guidelines. The Televideo team look forward to working on the European Volleyball matches across the summer months.
