With only 4 rounds of regular action left before the Engage Super League playoffs 2010, the Televideo production team can’t believe how quickly the third season of the BBC Super League Show series has gone. Beginning in February, the company have produced a weekly highlights programme bringing fans of rugby league all the very best action form the Engage Super League competition.
On Sunday 20th June Televideo left the BBC Leeds studio and took the Super League Show on the road, doing a live outside broadcast from the Galpharm Stadium, home of the Huddersfield Giants. The one hour show took place as Huddersfield played Hull FC, with regular studio guest and reporter Robbie Paul bringing score updates and interviews from pitch side. Presenter Harry Gration was joined in the studio by Warrington Wolves star Richie Mathers, and together the pair analysed all the best action from the weekend’s games. The programme also featured a look at the history of the club over the past few years, and a catch up with Steve Prescott to chat about his latest charitable achievements.
Presented by Harry Gration, the Super League Show is aired regionally on BBC 1 on Sundays, with a national repeat on BBC 2 in the early hours of Monday morning. The show is also available on the BBC iPlayer at www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer . |
