NBA star Luol Deng slam-dunks Eurobasket Qualifiers 2010

An impressive slam-dunk by Chicago Bulls star Luol Deng was the perfect way to end a fantastic day’s basketball at the NIA Arena in Birmingham on Saturday 14th August, particularly as it sealed the deal for GB to take the 4th consecutive win of their Eurobasket campaign.

Televideo were delighted to provide the outside broadcast and production facilities for client Fast Track, and covered both the GB Standard Life Men’s and Women’s games, which will be cut down to make highlights programmes for Channel 4. GB Wheelchair Basketball star Ade Adepitan presented the show, and was joined by former GB Women’s Head Coach Mark Clark and former GB International Andrea Consgreaves in the studio, with Dan Routledge joining the talent team in commentary.

Televideo catch up with all the GB Basketball action again on Thursday 26th August at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, where a further 2 programmes will be recorded as GB Men take on Bosnia & Herzegovina, and the GB Women face Germany.

The programmes will be aired on Sundays on Channel 4 during August and September.
