OB for BBC Music
HD2 survived the muddiest Glastonbury in the festival’s 46-year history at the weekend – as the Televideo team set up camp by the BBC Music Tepee for coverage of exclusive sessions by some of the music industry’s top names.
Ellie Goulding, Travis, Will Young, Bastille and Reef were just some of the artists that made an appearance in the Tepee – which was the base for a number of BBC Radio’s shows across the 3-day event. The weekend started with Chris Evans hosting breakfast on Radio 2, and from then on it was non-stop with the likes of Jo Whiley, Dermot O’Leary, Cerys Matthews, Clara Amfo, Steve Lamacq and Lauren Laverne all hosting shows from the tent.
Televideo provided a 5-camera OB which included a Jib and track camera to give viewers at home a taste of the intimate gigs performed by some of Glastonbury’s big name acts.
The coverage is available on the BBC website and the BBC iPlayer.
