Broadcast of opera for client Karma
On Thursday 24th March the Televideo team were treated to an evening of culture as we provided outside broadcast facilities to clients at Karma Broadcast for ‘The Passion’ – an abridged version of Bach’s St Matthew Passion, brought to life as an immersive fully-staged opera by the charity Streetwise Opera, alongside the world-renowned ensemble The Sixteen.
The performance came from Manchester’s Campfield Market, with Televideo’s HD1 facilitating the 6-camera OB. The material was then edited into a 60-minute programme, which aired on BBC Four on Easter Sunday.
