Gordon Brown on Sunday AM |
Sunday AM, the BBC’s flagship political programme, went on the road in April and May 2006. Televideo provided the outside broadcast for this roadshow, which took Andrew Marr and his team to venues across the country.
The programme, which is live on BBC1 on Sunday mornings, was a great success - the different venues and influential guests made for impressive television.
St. Elmo’s Fire Re-release Music Video
Hallam FM, South Yorkshire’s radio station, recently campaigned to re-release the 1985 classic St. Elmos’s Fire. John Parr, the legend behind the song, agreed to re-record the track, and donated all the proceeds to the Help a Hallam Child foundation.
Televideo helped the cause by producing a music video, featuring the radio station’s number one DJ, Big John, and his team. The video was very funny, the song sounded great, and a great deal of money was raised for the charity, which helps disadvantage children in the region.
The Halifax Bank of Scotland National Conferences
Televideo recently provided the OB coverage for the HBOS conferences, which were held in theatres across the country.
The majority of the venues required 4 cameras to provide footage for the big screens used for the meetings, and a de-rig kit was used to cut and mix the images.
Medical Conferencing
Medical Conferencing
Medical Conferencing
Medical Conferencing |
Televideo frequently provide OB facilities for medical conferences. Our clients include Cordis, Biocense Webster, Ely Lilly, Nycomed, Euro PCR, GE Medical and Velocimed. Most medical conferences take the format of a live case in a hospital, which is led by a consultant.
They are usually conducted from multiple sites, in some cases throughout Europe and occasionally transatlantic. The cases are transmitted live to a conference venue where up to 200 delegates are able to have interactive voice communication with the surgeons performing the operations.
Companies use Televideo for their medical conferencing to demonstrate new medical procedures that are felt to be interesting or innovative enough to share with doctors/surgeons in other hospitals.
Companies can also exhibit new items of equipment or surgical tools that are not widely used and need to be seen in use to promote the products. Senior consultants can hold master classes to enable less experienced doctors to see their operations.

The sport made a successful comeback, as despite a time away from media coverage, ice hockey maintains a hugely dedicated and loyal fan base – and viewing figures reflected this.
The 2-hour show featured a main game, as well as interviews, features and highlights from other key games across the league.
