Televideo are delighted to be back with British Superbikes for an 8th year, to cover the popular sport for new broadcaster Eurosport. The exciting deal will see the Bennett’s British Superbike Championship enjoy an unprecedented amount of both live and delayed coverage within the UK, and for the first time the sport will be broadcast internationally, with the potential to reach 28 million households across 53 countries. Jonathan Palmer, Chief Executive of MotorSport Vision, felt that Eurosport was the right place for British Superbikes: “With nearly 20 years of sport broadcasting and now covering both MotoGP and World Superbikes, Eurosport was therefore the perfect choice and I was delighted to find that they were as excited as we were.”

The contract to provide outside broadcast facilities for the British Superbikes came to Televideo - Paul Scivill, Managing Director, said of the deal: “We are extremely pleased to be covering the British Superbikes again this year. Televideo have worked in the motor sport sector for fifteen years now, we know this area of outside broadcast very well, and love being a part of it. Both myself and the crew look forward to the season ahead, and to be working with Eurosport this time round will be a pleasure.”

The 2008 season looks set to be an exciting one, and Televideo look forward to the first round at Brands Hatch, on Sunday 6 th April.
