A new season of British sport is in full swing for Televideo, with the Elite Ice Hockey and British Basketball seasons already underway, and the Netball Superleague beginning in early 2013.
It will be the companys third year in partnership with the British Basketball League, with the 25-show competition being broadcast on Sky Sports once again. The upcoming season promises to be more exciting and dramatic than ever before, with the inclusion of new teams to the league, and more thrilling live productions on Sky Sports. The BBL show is broadcast on Tuesday evenings, and features a main game from across the league, as well as highlights, interviews and reactions from guests. Daniel Routledge heads up the show as lead commentator, and is joined by a familiar face from the world of British basketball each week.
Over the season, Sky Sports will also feature four live games, beginning after the Christmas break on Tuesday 8th January with a Championship clash, followed by one of the biggest games of the season, the BBL Cup final on Sunday 13th January, live from the NIA in Birmingham. The BBL Trophy and BBL playoff finals will also be broadcast live, with the season ending at Wembley Arena on Sunday 28th April.
From the court to the ice rink, Televideos Elite Ice Hockey League Highlights Show features the best of the action from the UKs top-level ice hockey competition. Presented by David Simms, the 32-programme series is filmed in the companys Sheffield based studio, with an on-the-road special each month, where the team visits a club and goes behind the scenes on game day. The season will end with a bang with a live 3-hour production on Sky Sports.
Televideos Best of British also includes International and domestic netball action.
