The One Show continues to keep Televideo’s HD9 busy – our versatile and powerful unit provides both broadcast and uplink facilities for the BBC’s topical daily live production. On Wednesday 14th October the team were in Manchester at “DIY SOS Street”, as Nick Knowles embarked on the Big Build, creating 62 homes and a support centre for war veterans across two derelict streets in East Manchester. On 2nd November it was up to a cold Aberdeenshire, as BBC reporter Sarah Mack looked into the ‘Fishing for Litter’ initiative in Peterhead. Both outside broadcasts used 2 RF cameras, with live coverage uplinked through HD9 for inclusion as live inserts in the evening’s shows. |
