Sunday 27 th April saw Televideo take the BBC Super League production on the road again, as presenter Harry Gration and regular studio guest Robbie Paul did the show from Hull FC’s KC Stadium, bringing viewers all the latest rugby league action and news from the ground, as well as a report on Dwain Chamber’s rugby league debut for the Castleford Tigers, and game analysis from round 12 of the Engage Super League with former Hull FC full back, Shaun Briscoe.

The trip to Hull FC was the Super League Show’s third live outside broadcast, with St. Helens and Bradford Bulls being the other clubs visited in previous weeks. The live outside broadcasts are proving to be extremely popular with viewers and fans travelling to the games – community is a big part of rugby league, and having the opportunity to travel to each ground gives clubs a chance to display their game-day events and activities. So far this season the Super League Show has witnessed many community-driven events at Super League clubs. The Wild West day at Bradford’s Grattan stadium was a huge success, with a band, dancers and a horse and cart all adding to the family atmosphere. At St. Helens the show caught up with a youth team that play a match before home games. Over the rest of the season the Super League Show will aim to travel to all of the England-based Super League teams to bring viewers a taste of what rugby league has to offer, not just as one of the toughest sports around, but as a sport that is heavily involved in the community.

The Super League Show brings BBC viewers a weekly round-up of the very best action from the Engage Super League, it is shown on BBC One on Sunday afternoons, with a late night repeat on BBC Two. The programme is also available for download on the BBC’s iPlayer, at www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer

The next live outside broadcast will come from home of the Castleford Tigers, The Jungle, as Castleford take on the Wigan Warriors in Round 21 of the competition.
