Televideo are pleased to have opened their first offices in Scotland, following on from an expansion plan which has seen the existing fleet increase by five OB units in the last two years, taking the total number of HD vehicles to nine. The company’s HD5 is the first of the fleet to make the move to the Glasgow premises, accompanied by kit and tender vehicles which will be dedicated to the needs of new clients mneTV.
Televideo’s workflow sees OBs facilitated in Scotland on average 20 times per year, and with an additional 50 OBs a year for mneTV, the timing was right to set up a base north of the border. This will allow Televideo to grow and progress contracts and relationships in Scotland, at a time when the country is enjoying an increase in high-profile sporting events courtesy of a range of new facilities designed for the Comonwealth Games.
Televideo’s Sheffield office will remain the business headquarters, ideally placed for staff to travel to all areas of the UK. The Sheffield office will continue to house the majority of the OB fleet.
