Host broadcast and Premier Sports production
The Ladbrokes Four Nations began on Friday night in Hull, and Televideo were pleased to act as host broadcaster as well as producing a domestic feed for clients at Premier Sports. It was a clash between world champions Australia and Scotland that would kick off the competition, and the Kangaroos didn’t disappoint, putting on a world-class display for the crowds and viewers across the world.
Televideo’s HD8 was used for the 12-camera broadcast, which was taken by Premier Sports and the BBC in the UK, as well as a number of world wide takers including Channel Nine Australia. Presenter George Riley was joined by former Wales & GB international Iestyn Harris, and former Scotland international Andrew Henderson. Natalie Quirk was on hand as pitch side reporter.
The next game on Premier Sports will see the world number 1s New Zealand take on the Bravehearts in Workington – George Riley will once again be with Andrew Henderson in commentary, with Brian Noble also joining the team f
or what promises to be a dramatic match from one of the North’s most atmospheric small town clubs.
It will be broadcast live on Premier Sports on Friday 11th November, with pre-game build up beginning at 7.40pm.
