29th September 2011
September marks the start of a busy season of medical conferencing for Televideo. The company have been involved with several medical courses and hospitals for some years now, and usually provide outside broadcast services for large scale conferences being transmitted from multiple sites.
Live feeds from the operations are sent to the conferencing venues, where participants can interact with surgeons whilst the case is taking place. Televideo provide full AV facilities at the conference venues and oversee the technical set-up throughout the courses.
Televideo also films pre-recorded cases, either on ENG cameras if only small-scale coverage is required, or with an OB unit if it is a multi-camera case, and these cases are cut down from their full duration, usually 2-3 hours, to between 10-30 minutes, for use throughout the course.
